In present of moisture (min 0.2 %) in oil, "SELECT ADSORBENT" becomes active and forms weak bonds between the polar bodies. This slurry mix oil further enters in to bleacher, which is under vacuum and temperature about 105 – 110 oC where oil gets dried and weaker bond becomes stronger and forms a complex of crystalline molecule. As the polar bodies are already adsorbed, reducing red units and peroxide value. "SELECT ADSORBENT" adsorbs soap particles, trace metal ions & other impurities like P, Ca, Mg, Fe, Phospholipids, PAH, Chlorophyll, Carotenes, Beta-carotene and other non-polar bodies which are present in the neutral oil.
Normally water wash is given to remove the last trasses of soap particles and phospholipids, In order to avoid water wash entire operation, "SELECT ADSORBENT" is added to the neutral oil by dozer as per requirement, at 85 oC temperature in a reactor. Where contact time is maintained 25 minutes with continuous agitation. Then mixture is taken in to the bleacher & bleaching procedure is as usual with temperature of oil 110 oC. The bleached oil from this process has high quality product with several advantages. It gives better shinning to the oil.
